Jocelyn was originally a barn TNR (Trap Neuter/Spay Return) back in 2023. For some unknown reason, she was found as a stray in Guelph and because her microchip was registered to our rescue, as we did the TNR, we were contacted to pick up this beautiful girl. Jocelyn has taken the last few months to build her strength, weight and the beautiful coat with black highlights that you see now. She will do well as an only cat in your home. Jocelyn is very clean, playful and affectionate. Jocelyn gets upset if you make too much fuss over her back end, doesn't really like to be touched too much back there. This girl only wants cuddles and love in an indoor home environment. Jocelyn would like a “quiet” home with older children, maybe a very respectful older dog, and possibly another cat for companionship, that wouldn't be dominant towards her.

Chester

Chester was spotted looking for food in a kind families backyard in Grand Valley. They saw the love in this boys eyes and began feeding him and gaining his trust. Chester came regularly for his wet food treat and he developed trust with this family. Chester was live trapped back in November under their chestnut tree on the property, thus his name. He was then neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and given the last several months to learn to trust people again. Chester returns your love and affection and will continue to thrive in an environment that will take it slow with him. This boy only wants cuddles and is very vocal about getting his wet food treat. Chester would do well in a “quiet” home with older children, very respectful older dogs, and possibly another cat for companionship, that wouldn't be dominant towards him. He gets nervous with loud noises. Chester doesn't like conflict and doesn’t create it. He no longer has any teeth, they were all removed due to Stomatitis and he has fully healed.

Waffles with lots of help in her foster home is thriving into the beautiful and trusting girl that you see today. She would do well in a home with another companion cat, who would accept this young girl. She is use to other kittens/cats in her foster home. Waffles is very curious, playful and loves to explore. Waffles is fully litter box trained.

Donatella is a pleasure to live with, says her Foster Mom. This sweet girl was found surviving at a country property, probably after being dropped off and, of course, she became pregnant. Donatella had 2 surviving kittens which she kept alive and brought to the attention of the homeowner who then contacted our rescue to take her in. She is very affectionate and loves to give headbutts and cuddles and she occasionally loves belly rubs. She might act shy when she first comes into her new surroundings. She will react with dominate other cats or kittens in the home, but if they give her space and let her warm up to them things are good. Donatella is fully litter box trained.

Donatella is nervous around dogs and has no experience with dogs in her foster home.

What can we say about Wallace, this lovely boy is independent, energetic and very playful. He likes to be into everything and explore every part of your home. He loves life and is steady and methodical in his everyday life and really thinks out things before acting. He is 1 of 2 boys in a litter of 5 kittens which were rescued from a barn. Wallace, in his foster home is thriving into the handsome and affectionate boy that you see. Wallace as you will note has a head tilt. That was due to an ear infection and polyp removal which were treated and the polyp was removed. He might always have this head tilt or it will possibly diminish as he matures. Wallace is use to other kittens/cats in his foster home. Wallace is fully litter box trained.

Peppermint Patty is a feisty, spirited girl who will tell you right away if she doesn't like or something you are doing. She has a vocal opinion on everything. She can be very sweet, but she doesn't like to be bossed, she will answer back. Patty is very talkative and playful. She has learned to play nice with the other kittens/cats in her foster home. Patty arrived a bit later into rescue and takes time to search out affection but is so happy when she gets it.

Patty will get along with another cat in your home if they learn to give her her space and time so they can get to know each other and are not too pushy. Patty goes crazy for her wet canned food daily treat which she runs to wherever you are to be the first to get it. Patty loves looking out the window to the outdoors and would even love her own catio at her new home. She will be adopted as an “indoor” only cat. Patty has some limited experience with dogs.

Dolce and Dior are a bonded pair of charming sisters. They adore each other and their wish is to stay together forever and ever. Sisterly love!  These girls love having an abundance and assortment of play items (cat nip pillows, tunnels, balls with bells, three tier ball tower, scratching posts, fluffy foil balls and more) that they always have the time and energy for. When it’s time for their daily wet food, Dolce and Dior come running full speed when you tap the dish saying “treat, treat, treat!”

Dolce is a gentle girl and has totally overcome her shyness. A good brushing and back scratch down to her tail is sure to win her heart and warm her soul. Before you know it she’s flopping to the side waiting for tender belly rubs. Afterwards, pick her up for some purrs and ssnuggles. She can be a cheeky little devil who loves running around, batting toys, tearing through tunnels and sticking her head out the holes, “peek-a-boo!” 

Dior is very confident and will blend into her new surroundings with ease. She enjoys being brushed and makes certain to get in on the action if Dolce is first. She is affectionate during snuggles, purring all the while. 

Dolce and Dior are a great pair and a pleasure to have around. They are not wild and crazy kittens and respected their boundaries with adult cats in their foster home. These sisters will be a great addition to your family. They are fun, friendly with fabulous disposition
